The Global Innovation Award, administered by the American Academy of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, follows a rigorous and structured evaluation framework based on international best practices to assess and accredit innovative solutions. The evaluation process ensures that each solution demonstrates originality, feasibility, impact, and sustainability.

Degree of novelty and originality

Use of emerging technologies or unconventional approaches

Ability to address real-world challenges effectively

Feasibility & Implementation

Clarity of the implementation plan

Availability of technical, human, and financial resources

Realism of the execution timeline

Impact & Measurable Outcomes

Expected economic, social, or environmental impact

Scalability or potential for replication in other contexts

Availability of measurable KPIs and success indicators

Sustainability

Long-term viability of the solution post-deployment

Existence of operational support and maintenance strategy

Alignment with long-term strategic priorities

Integration Capability

Compatibility with existing systems or infrastructure

Flexibility and adaptability to evolving needs and technologies

Risk Assessment

Desk Review

Detailed review of submitted documentation, prototypes, and supporting material

Pitch or Presentation

The applicant presents their solution to the accreditation panel

Focus is placed on demonstrating impact, methodology, and scalability

Scoring and Expert Panel Review

A weighted scoring model (out of 100 points) is used

Evaluation is conducted by a committee of innovation and entrepreneurship experts

Solutions must meet or exceed the minimum passing threshold to be accredited
